First Messgae

I'm so excited to be going on my first mission for Bridge of Life. I titled this blog after a comment that my wonderful daughter Leslie made to me once about a quote from a movie that reminded her of me. (yes I teared up when she said it) I'll try to find the exact words to post later on but it was generally about man's ability to care for more than his family and that it's possible to increase your circle and have an impact on more than your immediate family.

For those you who know me from the Sierra Terrific Division- you know I'm all about pebbles and the compelling purpose that I fought hard to keep.

So like a pebble in a pond I will join our teammates and travel to the Philippines to send forth ripples of citizen leadership.

I'll post more later- for now I just need to play with this a bit and figure out how to join the world of bloggers. Thanks Britters for telling me about Blog Spot. So far so good.
